30 nails in 90 days: #30.

Number 30! Number 30!

…Okay, so I haven’t posted these quite within my 90-day time limit, but hey, what can you do?

Nail style #30: Tribal + ikat.

Inspiration.

I recently came across this gem (on Pinterest, naturally) and knew I had to attempt it for my big nail challenge finale.

My take.

This style, as you can see, took a lot of polishes. I painted all of my nails with one thin coat of Essie’s Sand Tropaz, then used a crapton of nail art brushes and pens for the rest of it.

So, if you’re wondering, here are the colors I used:

Light purple – Kiss Nail Art in Soft Purple

Yellow – Kiss Nail Art in Beach Yellow

Black – Kiss Nail Art in Black (makes sense?)

Blue – Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Periwinkle

Green - Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Turquoise

Pink/red - Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Coral

The result.

Not my best work, but hey, it’s the end of the road. And, as consolation, I bring you this backup (stripes were made in Sally Hansen nail art pen in coral).
