As you might have noticed, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything not nail polish-related. Or you might not have noticed. Either way, we’ve got some catching up to do.
1. Boyfriend and I went to California, which included:
Hanging with Boyfriend’s brother and sister-in-law,
My first soccer game (and a major league one, at that!),
Weather warm enough to get a tan burn,
and other California-y type things.
2. I got a new job.
3. I finally scheduled surgery to clean out my sinuses (yes, five months later).
I most definitely do not have what they term a “healthy sinus.” So I get to have a scope stuck up my nose to hose out my brain sinuses so I can breathe again.
4. I’m playing football in two months to “tackle” (get it? DOYOUGETIT?) Alzheimer’s disease.
Yes, friends. I, Hannah Shaner, am playing football to raise money to help fight Alzheimer’s disease. If you can spare a few dollars, please think about donating in my name.
FYI, $20 automatically gets you a ticket to the game, where you can watch me flail at life football. While drinking adult beverages. So it’s really a win-win.
